The Super Plossl 12 mm GSO eyepiece is a classic, four-element lunar - planetary eyepiece. The SPL eyepieces guarantee good optical quality with a reasonable field of view and a reasonable price.

Okular draws attention with very good blackening, thanks to which the reflections are significantly eliminated when observing the Moon and other bright objects.

The eyepiece has an eyecup made of soft rubber.

A 12 mm focal length eyepiece in typical telescopes is not very sensitive to weak seeing, while allowing relatively high magnification. For example, in a 100 f / 10 refractor, we get 83x magnification, good even on nights with a very unstable, turbulent atmosphere.
