Celestron CG5 / Advanced VX polar scope (SKU: 94224)

Polar finder for Celestron CG-5 / Advanced VX / CGEM (Celestron, SKU: 94224). This polar finder for the Celestron CG-5 / Advanced VX / CGEM mount helps align the right ascension axis with the Earth’s rotation axis by pointing it at the celestial pole. In the northern hemisphere, Polaris serves as a reference but is not exactly at the pole: it must be positioned as indicated by the reticle and the polar finder alignment procedure. Correct polar alignment reduces image drift during tracking.
