Adapter for attaching 2 "accessories in SCT telescopes. They are typically equipped with 1.25-inch visual-backs. The use of a 2-inch reduction allows the use of solid angular attachments and eyepieces in a 2" standard, usually with better optical properties. The reduction has a SCT thread threaded inside from the bottom, and a 2 " clamping ring that protects accessories against scratches.
