Orion 8-24 mm Pro Lanthanum zoom (#52056)

Chromatic aberration is the main enemy of a good telescope image. You can't do much about atmospheric aberration, but a good lanthanum eyepiece is always a step in the best direction.

Orion 8-24 mm Pro Lanthanum is:
• eyepiece with smoothly variable focal length in the range of 8-24 mm, which of course also means smoothly variable magnifications
• parfocal eyepiece in the whole focal range - once sharpened the image does not require changing the focus when changing the magnification
• great optics - 8 elements in 6 groups, of which 5 elements are made of lanthanum glass (!)
• retractable eyecup ("twist-up") allows you to adjust the optimal distance from the eye, and the eye relief is large and constant throughout the entire focusing range, equal to 20 mm
• waterproof eyepiece - it won't hurt the rain if we observe nature in worse weather
