Photos from description

ZWO FF110-APO Astrograph with ZWO AM5N Mount, TC40 Tripod, and PE200 Extension Pier Set (ZWO). The set includes a ZWO FF110-APO apochromatic refractor with a 110 mm aperture, 766 mm focal length and f/7 focal ratio, plus a ZWO AM5N strain-wave mount, TC40 tripod and PE200 pier extension. The refractor has built-in field flattening and is designed for deep-sky imaging without a separate field flattener. With a suitable diagonal and eyepiece, it can also be used for visual observing. The mount provides automatic GoTo pointing and tracking; equatorial mode is used for long exposures, while alt-azimuth mode is intended for observing. The pier extension increases the clearance between the head and tripod legs, giving the telescope and accessories more room during movement.

Key features

• four-element apochromat with an ED element and built-in field flattening
• image circle of 44 mm diameter, suitable for full-frame cameras
• rack-and-pinion focuser: 3" with 1:10 fine adjustment and 360° rotator
• retractable dew shield, tube rings and carrying handle
• mounting plate: Vixen, 300 mm long
• strain-wave mount with GoTo, tracking, home return and RA-axis power-off brake
• cable routing aided by USB-C and DC ports in the mount saddle
• adjustable TC40 carbon-fibre tripod and aluminium PE200 pier extension

Included items

• optical tube: ZWO FF110-APO with a pair of tube rings and handle
• dovetail plate: Vixen, 300 mm

The camera, power supply, guiding equipment and any ASIAIR controller are selected separately. An electronic focuser motor, focal reducer, diagonal, eyepieces, counterweight bar and counterweight are not included in this set. When selecting accessories, allow for their weight, optical-train length and clearance above the tripod. Long exposures require polar alignment of the mount and suitable tracking.
