The Astronomik L-2 UV-IR Block Clip-Filter EOS R APS-C (Astronomik, SKU: 10220210 / 8h11vc) is a luminance filter designed for Canon EOS R APS-C mirrorless cameras. The L-2 model belongs to the UV-IR Block filter series developed for capturing the luminance channel while cutting off ultraviolet and infrared radiation. The L-2 version is the intermediate variant in this series and was designed for APO refractors, very good doublets used at their native focal length, reflecting telescopes with focal reducers, and RASA telescopes. The transmission characteristics of this filter are very close to the UV-IR filters used as standard in cameras from brands such as Canon and Nikon.
