The Astronomik CLS Clip-Filter EOS R APS-C (Astronomik, SKU: 10220082 / 8h11uy) is a light pollution suppression filter designed for Canon EOS R APS-C mirrorless cameras. The CLS model was developed for astrophotography under light-polluted skies and is suitable for imaging galaxies, gas nebulae, star clusters, and comets. Thanks to its wide passband, the filter allows a large amount of light to reach the sensor, so stars are only minimally dimmed, while the main sources of artificial light and the natural airglow are effectively suppressed. This makes it possible to achieve high contrast while maintaining an image with nearly natural color reproduction.
• light pollution suppression filter for Canon EOS R APS-C cameras
• designed for astrophotography of galaxies, gas nebulae, star clusters, and comets
• wide passband allowing a large amount of light to reach the sensor
• minimal dimming of starlight
• effective suppression of sodium and mercury vapor lamp light
• suppression of LED lighting emission peaks and the lines of natural airglow
• increases contrast between deep-sky objects and the background
• allows an image with nearly natural color reproduction to be obtained
• with cameras without a built-in IR cut filter, it requires an additional Astronomik IR-Block filter
• parfocal with other Astronomik filters
• Astronomik CLS Clip-Filter EOS R APS-C
