Featuring the latest FCD100 SD apochromatic 82 mm objectives, 24 mm free-aperture prisms and a waterproof magnesium alloy body filled with nitrogen, it delivers bright, razor-sharp and fully color-corrected images—even at magnifications up to 64×.
With a focal length of 450 mm, the 82XL-SD comes equipped with Oberwerk 14 mm (32×) 8-element eyepieces offering a 70° apparent field and a 2.2° true field of view. The generous 18 mm eye relief and 2.57 mm exit pupil ensure comfortable viewing, even for eyeglass wearers.
