A set of four filters of professional 2-inch filters for CCD astrophotography. The set includes a red filter (R), green (G), blue (B) and a neutral filter cutting out infrared and ultraviolet (L, luminance). The filters are covered with high-quality MC layers.
LRGB filters are used in astrophotography using monochrome CCD cameras. We make 4 series of black and white images using successive filters of red (R), green (G), blue (B) and luminance filter (L). Then, using appropriate photo processing programs, we combine frames into one color photo. The color images obtained this way outweigh the quality of the images obtained with the use of color cameras, although they require more material and longer processing.
Filters R, G and B serve to illuminate subsequent basic colors, while the L filter is responsible for mapping the entire visible range with the cut-off of infrared and ultraviolet.
