Crayford extractor with a 1:10 microfocuser intended for mounting on refractors - the extractor is attached to the telescope tube with three screws, the mounting diameter on the telescope side is 96mm. The element is made very solidly, in CNC technology, which ensures excellent comfort and precision of work. The bushing of the extractor moves on 4 special bearings and a roller, thanks to this solution the structure does not show any play. Inside the sleeve there are diaphragms improving the contrast of the image. The extractor's working range is 40mm. The 2 "and 1.25" mounting uses a clamping ring that protects the eyepiece sleeve against scratching and ensures a firm grip of the eyepiece.
The extractor hood has 2 large adjustment screws. The first of them is used to completely block the operation of the extractor, it can be useful when using the heaviest accessories or to prevent accidental change of focus. The second screw allows to smoothly adjust the resistance of the extraction work. When completely loosened, you can use light accessories (small glasses) and the hood is then extremely smooth. When fully tightened, the extractor works with slightly greater resistance, however, the guaranteed maximum load is then 2.7 kg. 24 months
