The ZWO ASI 6200MM-PRO monochrome camera is setting new standards in astrophotography. At the heart of this camera is the unrivaled, full-frame Sony IMX455 optical sensor with a resolution of 62 MPix (9576x6388 px). This camera is one of the first to combine a CMOS sensor with a 16-bit ADC. This combination produces images with sharpness and dynamic range unmatched by other cameras, making them impossible to ignore. The ASI 6200MM-PRO camera is a product where nothing has been left to chance. Thanks to the use of an optical sensor built using "back-illuminated" technology, unprecedented sensitivity has been achieved, allowing the camera to push the boundaries of astrophotography. The use of an extremely efficient Peltier-based cooling system ensures that the sensor's dark current is maintained at an extremely low level of 0.003 e/s/pix at zero degrees Celsius. This means that for a 5-minute exposure, the noise generated by the IMX455 sensor is negligible! This product is also free from the "Amp Glow" effect characteristic of many CMOS sensors.
