The guide motor on the RA axis will direct the telescope in the selected direction at a speed compensating for the Earth's rotational motion (about 1/4 degree per minute). This will ensure that the observed objects remain in the field of view at all times. Irreplaceable in astrophotography, it facilitates visual observation. The kit includes a control motor in the right ascension axis and a remote control that allows you to adjust the speed and stop the drive. Powered by 4 D-type batteries or an optional power supply.
Additional adjustment options allow the telescope to be guided: - at a speed of 2x approximately equivalent to 0.5 degrees per minute. - at a speed of 4 x or about 1 degree per minute, - at a speed of 4 x or about 1 degree per minute, only in the opposite direction, - stop driving
Adapted to MON1 / EXOS1 mounts.
