The knife designed by Kit Carson with an aluminum frame with a powerful, bulging blade in the Spear Point version has already gained the name of a cult. That is why CRKT decided to release the final, limited edition knife CRKT M21-04 in a circulation of only 100 pieces.
The blade is based on a spear-point type with a non-reflective frost finish. High-quality AUS8 steel was used for its production. The blade has a false blade and a prominent belly, and has been additionally reinforced along its entire length to obtain maximum resistance to overload.
You can easily open or close the knife with one hand using symmetrical pins, which are also a support for the blade. The M21 series has a flipper that allows faster and more effective knife opening with one hand.
The handle linings are made of 6061 T6 aircraft grade dark gray anodized aluminum. They have been profiled to provide a comfortable grip both with and without gloves, and have cutouts to reduce weight.
The blade is protected against closing by a liner lock. In addition, the AutoLAWKS automatic lock was used, which makes the knife have the same load resistance as a knife with a fixed blade.
Each knife of the M21 series has a removable, Teflon-covered clip for easy carrying a knife pinned to a belt or pocket. All screws used in the knife are Torxy.
